Class Packs
The benefits of having students be content creators for class projects and presentations is well established and is becoming a more common practice in classrooms. LecShare, Inc. wants to enable students to be able to easily create web based multimedia content, specifically material that is fully accessible, and still do it on a student's budget. We are now offering a purchasing option called "Class Packs" to meet these goals.
Class Packs allow an instructor who wants to use LecShare Pro as part of a class project to make LecShare Pro available at significant discounts for the entire class. If an instructor wants to have his/her class use LecShare Pro, the instructor can fill out a Class Pack request online. As long as the request is for a legitimate class and it involves more than just the instructor producing web-based content with LecShare Pro the request will be approved. This would allow everyone in the class (instructor and students) to purchase a full version of LecShare Pro for $10 each.
Students would be given access to a special online store where they could purchase it themselves. The reduced price would be available for the duration of the class being taught. There is nothing to sign, no commitment, and no obligation for any of the students or the faculty to buy anything. The Class Pack simply gives instructors a way to allow their students affordable access to a great multimedia content creation tool.
