One issue to consider in making your presentation accessible is the order in which the items on a slide will be presented. Whenever a screen reader or another non-graphical web browser loads a page it will have to place all the items in a specific order. This is referred to as "linearizing" a page. Usually that order is from left to right and from top to bottom. With PowerPoint presentations through, that is not always the case. When a PowerPoint slide is displayed in a web browser the items on the slide will usually be linearized in the order they were originally created in Microsoft PowerPoint, not necessarily from top to bottom and from left to right. This can lead to some confusion when people with screen readers or non-graphical browsers are trying to understand your page.
Look at the following slide (Figure 1)

Figure 1
The natural way to read this slide is to see that the digital camera can lead to creating very large PowerPoint files (because digital cameras can produce very large images). When this slide was originally created the text "LARGE PowerPoint Files > 50+MB" was created first, the arrow was created second, and the camera was added last. This will result in a screen reader or a non-graphical browser linearizing the items in an order exactly opposite of the intended message. LecShare Pro will show you the exact order your slide will be presented. (See Figure 2) (The Title always appears first by default.)

Figure 2
There is no easy way to determine this order directly in Microsoft PowerPoint.
To change the order the items will be presented, single-click on the item you want to move, and then click either the "Up" or "Down" button. Continue doing this until the slide is arranged in the order you want. (See Figure 3)

Figure 3
This does not effect the way the slide looks or behaves in PowerPoint, including transitions that may be attached to the items. This only effects the way LecShare Pro exports your presentation.
The HTML output that LecShare Pro creates will now linearize this page in the intended order.
Linearizing items on a slide only has a bearing on the HTML output that LecShare Pro creates. Linearization is not a problem in the other formats.
