Export File and Folder Information

File Names

The file names will be generated from the name of the original PowerPoint presentation, when appropriate. LecShare Pro will modify the name to be appropriate for the web as well (no space and no capitals) For example:

PowerPoint file name = "Introduction to Biology.ppt"

Accessible HTML = "index.html"

QuickTime Movie = "introduction_to_biology.mov"

MPEG-4 = "introduction_to_biology.mov"

Microsoft Word Document = "introduction_to_biology.doc"

Output Directory

All of the files will be exported to sub folders with the folder selected in the export process. The different export options will be saved to folders called "html", "qtmovie", "mpeg4", and "msword". If there are any files in the sub folders with the same names to which LecShare Pro exports, they will be deleted. Other files already existing in the folder will not be deleted.

It is recommended to always export to a new folder or delete all the files out of a folder first. If you export to a folder that has previously been exported to, LecShare Pro will only overwrite the files with the same file name. If the presentation changes much between exports there is a chance that there will be files from the previous export that will not get deleted.
