LecShare Pro 1.50 released - Office 2008 compatible
LecShare, Inc. announces the release of LecShare Pro, version 1.50. The major update in this version is compatibility with Office 2008 for Macintosh. Additionally we have added an export option for IMS Content Packages. This format is useful for Learning/Content Management Systems like Moodle, Blackboard, and others. It allows you to export your presentation in a format that is compatible across multiple online systems.
This is a free update for all registered users.
LecShare Pro allows you to add audio to Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to create QuickTime movies, MPEG-4 Video files (Video Podcasts), Accessible HTML, and Microsoft Word documents. You can either record audio through a microphone or import audio files.
LecShare Lite
Later this week we will be releasing LecShare Lite. LecShare Lite is a rebranding of our original LecShare product, but it also is bringing our original product up to the same code base as LecShare Pro. That means as LecShare Pro receives new features, they will also be reflected in LecShare Lite. LecShare Lite will be getting the newest features just released in LecShare Pro, like Office 2008 compatibility and the IMS Content Package export.
LecShare Lite has all the same functionality of LecShare Pro except for the audio components (recording, exporting to movies, etc.)
